Where it all started

For its first edition under the Blitz Bishops banner, the Montréal Open set up shop at Casa d'Italia, one of Montréal's most beautiful pieces of history. Classical, rapid, blitz: a full week of competition.

The halls were packed, the games were hard-fought, and the energy didn't lie: this community is ready for bigger. That's exactly what we're building for 2026.
